This placement is designed for undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a career in therapy. Gritman Medical Center's Therapy Solutions department encompasses a variety of therapy practices, including: • Speech Therapy • Cardiac Rehabilitation • Wellness Center Programs Placement Details: • This program is by invitation only • Students interested in placement must submit a letter of request along with a recommendation from their academic advisor to volunteer@gritman.org
• To assist the various departments of Therapy Solutions • Provide students with exposure to therapy workflows and departmental operations • Support professional development and understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration in therapy services
All clinical volunteers should use charge nurse of department as primary point of contact while on shift (Primary). For questions or assistance regarding volunteer placements: volunteer@gritman.org or 208-883-6470
All volunteers must immediately report any injury to their department shift supervisor and/or the House Supervisor. Volunteers are expected to follow all safety protocols and guidelines to protect themselves, patients, staff, and visitors.
• Violation of HIPAA or any safety policy will result in immediate termination. • Failure to adhere to the schedule, dress code, or general volunteer expectations—including tardiness or missed shifts—may result in termination from the program. • Gritman reserves the right to terminate a volunteer at any time for failure to meet program requirements or maintain professional conduct.
