Gritman Medical Center
At Gritman, an Advanced Degree Placement is defined as a contract between the higher education institution, the student, and the preceptor. Advisor verification of contract requirements ensures a formal agreement between the department and the educational institution to fulfill the required educational hours for the student’s degree program.
All clinical volunteers should use charge nurse of department as primary point of contact while on shift (Primary). For questions or assistance regarding volunteer placements: volunteer@gritman.org or 208-883-6470
All volunteers must immediately report any injury to their department shift supervisor and/or the House Supervisor. Volunteers are expected to follow all safety protocols and guidelines to protect themselves, patients, staff, and visitors.
• Violation of HIPAA or any safety policy will result in immediate termination. • Failure to adhere to the schedule, dress code, or general volunteer expectations—including tardiness or missed shifts—may result in termination from the program. • Gritman reserves the right to terminate a volunteer at any time for failure to meet program requirements or maintain professional conduct.
